Watch two new videos to learn more about elementary gym
space and career and technical education programs at the high school. Have you seen our signs around the district? We have a few yard signs and oversize signs left. Contact us to get one. We have also created documents that speak to three specific aspects of the referendum: performing arts education center, athletics, and career and technical ed.
We love this video about the need for a performing arts education center. We're on Instagram! Look for YES yard signs around town this weekend. Sample ballots for Franklin and Oak Creek are available. The school district updated its FAQ page. We recommend this article about career and technical education. Finally, OCFSD staff and board members will host an information table at the Oak Creek Farmers Market at Drexel Town Square from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday, October 13.
Yard signs will be delivered next week. Contact us if you want one. Watch the video produced by the school district that shows an overview of the comprehensive facilities plan. With fewer than six weeks left before election, YES for Oak Creek Schools is meeting weekly. We always need volunteers!
New! Check out the YES flyer and we have a new logo!
Our 2018 campaign to pass the current referendum kicks off this week with a new logo, new content, and new printed materials. Check back for updates. YES for Oak Creek Schools is an independent grassroots organization of volunteers who advocate for greater parent involvement and improved communication in the Oak Creek-Franklin School District. With a strong belief in public education, we encourage parents to be active participants in joining us to demand excellence in Oak Creek-Franklin schools. YES was founded in 2014 as a referendum advocacy group, and our focus has evolved into increasing awareness of issues at the district level. In 2018, we are again supporting the OCFSD referendum for 11/6/18, this time for a comprehensive facilities improvement plan.
